I’m back in Manhattan on business and away from the lodging I was forced to take during the pandemic and George Floyd riots. Despite the crime hype, everything seems to be getting back to normal, although I no longer frequent the subways. On the drive down, I crossed the George Washington Bridge which was not nearly as jammed with traffic as the pre-pandemic years were.
