2015: What a Year at Leon Koziol. Com !

Here it’s about action!

While most victims of court abuse talk and complain about their ordeals, here at Leon Koziol.com, we are doing something about it. We are entering our seventh year of advocacy for victimized moms and dads. And it’s been a wild ride.

A second professional evaluation was performed on our site in 2015 with great reviews and promising signs of growth. According to a year end report received on December 30th, a record number of visitors, over 23,000, was documented in 2015.

With newly applied initiatives such as regular news updates, upcoming book publications and political action in the 2016 elections we expect that number to grow virally and exponentially. Many thanks to all our followers who helped make this possible.

Ironically the single most viewed post was a gag order placed upon this site by a family judge, Daniel King, which is now being challenged in a higher court. This judge was widely criticized for imposing support orders upon his public critic, Dr. Leon Koziol, based upon fictitional college degrees before the Moreland Commission on Public Corruption. As you can see we have not gone away. This is because the crucial and unprecedented work we do literally saved lives. This has been verified by the same year end report showing that followers have increased dramatically from countries as far away as Russia, Australia and Brazil. The largest number of visitors outside the states came from Canada and Great Britain.

The year began after Leon’s return from Paris where he met with human rights advocates to obtain international recognition of the abuses occurring in family courts that have been transformed into capitalist courts. Children have been turned into a trillion dollar industry while  our moral fiber has declined to an all time low. (Click Here to View Post)

In March Dr. Koziol spent a week in Nashville meeting with celebrity agents and free speech advocates in an effort to promote our parenting rights cause. Donations and investors were sought while reports were generated to demand long overdue reforms with a focus on shared parenting, draconian support collection practices and parental alienation atrocities. These goals took on heightened attention when an unarmed father, Walter Scott, was murdered by a police officer in South Carolina while fleeing a support warrant during a traffic stop. Leon spent a week in Charleston addressing national media and meeting with civil rights advocates such as Al Sharpton and Attorney Malik Shabazz. (Click Here to View Post)

He followed with a major report submitted to the Justice Department. (Click Here to See This Report)

The year also featured book writing services for parents victimized in these courts. One court ordeal is expected to be published very soon on behalf of a mother who suffered through a 15 year ordeal that took her to numerous foreign countries as a fugitive from a corrupt family court system in Michigan. A famous doctor secured Leon’s assistance and invited him to spend a week in Manhattan over the summer to study his divorce ordeal which cost him nearly $5 million in lawyer fees. A university professor nearby had vigorously fought alongside Leon at the Foley Square courthouses in New York City. (Click Here to See Post)

Leon gave interviews to Joseph Sorge and his widely acclaimed Divorce Corp movement to promote overdue reforms in these courts. In a further effort to suppress such reforms, Leon was again hauled before a “professional standards” committee to explain outcomes which he had no control over.

This all culminated in a rare disciplinary hearing made public at Leon’s request. It was covered  by Divorce Corp and featured a panel of judges called to task over the ethics lawyers engaged in the witch hunt against Leon who were fired by the same court for falsifying their time sheets. It resulted in a dismissal of the committee’s charges. (Click Here to Read Post)

In recent months the “war on parents” has reached climactic levels with a clash between First Amendment and family court gag orders disguised as protection devices. A self governing nation will not tolerate such oppression and deceit. Hence we are challenging such practices in a federal appeals court in Manhattan. We expect to reach the Supreme Court in 2016.

Such action on your behalf is not free. It takes massive resources, yet we continue to struggle with volunteers and few donors. You cannot imagine what it is like for a committed parental advocate to hear countless heart wrenching stories from all across the country without the means to assist and yet remain standing against all the severe retribution sustained as a consequence. Hopefully that will change with your help in 2016.

Happy New Year !

Paris, ISIS and Thomas Ball: Is America Vulnerable?

Dr. Leon Koziol in Paris one year ago seeking international recognition of domestic terror erupting from corrupt family courts

By Dr. Leon Koziol

At first blush in this headline one asks the question: what does Paris, ISIS and Thomas Ball have in common? Well we all know by now the first two involving the greatest terrorist strike upon France since World War II. But who is Thomas Ball?

Before answering that question, a profound irony must be emphasized regarding a nation which refused to participate in the war on terrorism which is now asking everyone else to join it in the eradication of ISIS. Meanwhile our own president refuses to participate.

Could it be that the targeting of the French president at a soccer game has Obama worried for his personal safety? Is it because he’s not in charge of the coordinated effort? Or is there something more ominous which the public is being denied access to?

Events of this past week continue to beg the question of whether we should be meddling into the affairs of foreign countries to incite these terrorist attacks. Viet Nam veterans are familiar with the Tonkin Bay scandal which escalated our involvement in a “conflict” that cost our nation over 58,000 men and 8 women.

Which brings us to Thomas Ball. This Viet Nam war veteran, committed dad and model citizen who traces his roots to the American Revolution, arrived at Family Court in Keene County, New Hampshire on June 15,  2011. It was anything but a court appointment which brought him there.

He was not there to surrender himself to a jail term for back child support. Instead he sat down in front of the courthouse, poured gas over his head and lit himself on fire to protest family court corruption and father discrimination. Imagine what it took to cause a man to resort to such non-court pain and suffering?

Thomas Ball was hoping to incite a civil rights revolution to parallel the one our government supported in the Middle East when only a few months earlier a man burned himself alive in Tunisia. It caused revolutions across the Arab world leading ultimately to the ISIS response in Paris.

But here in the states there was no government promotion of reform or sympathy for Thomas Ball. Instead it was just business as usual within days of this shocking event known as a “self-immolation.” It was a form of protest chosen in lieu of the mass carnage we see today.

Three articles are instructive here when Googling Thomas Ball: a June 16, 2011 local report by Free Keene, a June 20, 2011 article by Sovereign Man (foreign blog site decrying the lack of mainstream coverage of this horrific event) and a July 10, 2011 story in the Boston Globe which finally threw a bone for the fathers’ rights movement and the publicity it warranted.

What is significant about all this for purposes of Homeland Security is that Thomas Ball mailed to various media a manifesto of sorts demanding that family courts become the targets of violent rebellion. He even gave instructions on how to effectively deliver a Molotov cocktail to their corrupted chambers. You must read that manifesto, it will send chills down your home town spines.

Family court abuses are causing violent reactions all across America but because they have become a capitalist trillion dollar industry, government propaganda and a complicit mainstream media are suppressing public knowledge and accountability. We need go no further than our local family courts to prove this.

In my own home town, a police investigator exiting family court learned that he would have to survive on $28 per week after deductions for taxes, child support and other mandatory executions. Rather than continue under this oppression, he chose to take matters into his own hands, committing a murder-suicide with the ex-spouse leaving three children without parents.

Evidently the child support bill was never paid after that, instead the police department was blamed in federal court leaving taxpayers with a $2 million liability. It occurred despite confiscation of weapons and imposition of protection orders, see Pearce v Longo. The self crafted remedy was executed with a common kitchen knife.

This emasculation and criminalization of fatherhood in America through debtor prisons and socialist policies are leading to escalations in crime, immorality and child dysfunction. We see it increasingly in the mass killings at schools and public venues like those in Paris.

I visited numerous human rights agencies, offices and media including the AP in Paris. But because these family courts have become so lucrative in Western society, there are no government studies or reforms to this antiquated custody system of child governance.

To address the growing epidemic, I filed an extraordinary lawsuit in the federal appeals court in Manhattan seeking, among other things, a declaratory judgment invalidating this oppressive and discriminatory system of child control. Our followers went off the charts as a result.

As America’s military returns home to debtor prisons, child alienation practices and a money oriented court system, ISIS operatives are no doubt exploiting the injustices here to orchestrate their next attack. Like  9/11 we know it’s coming. The question is how, when and whether our government is drawing properly upon its own people to track it.

To that end I published a novel last year depicting how the next terrorist strike on our homeland could occur. It’s about a group of career woman on a private voyage across the Great Lakes who unwittingly foil such a plot. Full of intrigue, romance and humor it is titled “Voyage to Armageddon,” available at Barnes and Noble, Amazon and Lulu on-line bookstores.

I am also offering professional services to those who would like to publish their own court ordeals. Feel free to contact me at (315) 796-4000 if you have such an ordeal, and stay in contact for our next very exciting series here at Leon Koziol.com.

DID SUPPRESSION OF FREE SPEECH AT PUBLIC CORRUPTION HEARINGS INSULATE GOVERNMENT FROM ACCOUNTABILITY?

cuomo-moreland-commissionimagesIMG_3995

THE ARREST OF NEW YORK’S TOP ASSEMBLY LEADER MAY BE THE TIP OF AN ICEBERG

Parental Advocate, Dr. Leon R. Koziol, was one of the fortunate few selected from the general public to speak before the Governor’s Moreland Commission on Public Corruption at New York’s Pace University on September 17, 2013 (Constitution Day). Meanwhile vast numbers were denied access altogether in the streets outside the building. If you recall our website posts at the time, public emotions erupted into spontaneous protests and arrests as a well scripted Commission deliberated ultimately to a point of impotence, achieving nothing in the months of its costly existence.

When evidence began to surface implicating the Governor himself and top state officials, the Commission was prematurely dissolved in March, 2014. Fortunately one of the speakers, federal prosecutor Preet Bharara, chastised the unexpected move during an interview in Buffalo, New York. He then secured Commission files progressively leading to the January 22, 2015 arrest of New York Assembly Speaker, Sheldon Silver, on bribery and corruption charges involving New York law firms and millions of dollars in public money. While the federal investigations were underway, Mr. Koziol was being targeted and punished for his own testimony at the same hearing by disciplinary agents of the state’s judiciary.

Only weeks after the Moreland Commission was disbanded, a report was issued on April 8, 2014 opposing reinstatement of Leon’s law license with a complete copy of his testimony. This report was not issued by an independent entity like Mr. Bharara’s office, it was prepared by attorneys hired and supervised by the very court being criticized and responsible for the licensing decisions. Only nine months earlier, the chief attorney and his associate engaged in the same targeting activity were fired for falsifying their time sheets, publicly financed time which was also misappropriated to violate Leon’s civil rights. No public charges were lodged against them.

The targeting of Leon’s speech and reform efforts after 23 unblemished years as a successful civil rights attorney was admitted in an unrecorded, confidential hearing held by the same licensing court in May, 2013. Clearly provocative but never alleged to be false, Leon’s Commission testimony cited extensive judicial misconduct including a Syracuse judge assigned to his custody case who was removed from the bench for sexual misconduct upon his handicapped five year old niece. He also asked for an investigation into the state’s Judicial Conduct Commission due to its political nature and failure over the years to hold judges properly accountable. Like Sheldon Silver, many were later arrested and convicted by federal authorities.

Federal mandamus and civil rights actions were accordingly filed by Mr. Koziol in lower Manhattan and the state’s capital, but indications are that the constitutional atrocities will be suppressed, dismissed and otherwise punished to assure business as usual in America’s divorce and family courts. Any logical observer must therefore conclude that our third branch of government is simply placing itself above the law, in this case our supreme laws entrusted to its care under the Constitution. Mr. Koziol sacrificed his career and family to promote a long overdue cause for the people against his own profession. So is that it? We simply walk away while our veterans and public safety officers return to alienated children, draconian enforcement practices and discriminatory treatment by the government they swore to protect?

As Americans, we are charged with a duty to do much more. Ominous signs are everywhere concerning the ongoing erosion of our most cherished rights and beliefs, from NSA surveillance to IRS targeting of conservative groups and more. We simply cannot ignore all this by returning to our couches and routines. After Mr. Koziol’s return from Paris on a mission to accord parenting rights international protection, a million people rallied in that city to support free speech. When will a similar rally emerge here in Washington to promote the same rights, equal treatment of fathers and support for truly struggling mothers?

Many thanks to three recent benefactors in Paris, New York and Tennessee for their major donations. A trip to Nashville is set for March as stated in an earlier post. Once again, we need everyone’s involvement to promote this vital cause. Help us with media contact and other potential donors. We also ask for personal contributions and purchase of our court program which has helped so many parents navigate their way successfully and economically through family court. Obtain it at http://www.parentingrightsinstitute.com. You may call our office, Parenting Rights Institute, at (315) 380-3420 or Dr. Koziol direct at (315) 796-4000.
