Is public accountability for New York’s commissions now deemed “harassment?”

Leon Koziol, Director

Parenting Rights Institute

Public input is now harassment.

That was the message conveyed by Ellen Schell, a lawyer and government protector for the State of New York. In an October 22, 2021 e-mail to me, she conveyed the legal position that a staff member for the state’s Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (OPDV) was not required to respond to my valid inquiries regarding the conduct of a virtual public hearing held on September 23, 2021. Such a response could have been a simple one, but consistent with the extremes and absurdities now championed by this office, the staff member, Rosemary Pelletier, decided to twist my public input into a form of harassment, something it clearly was not, thereby dodging her accountability and responsibilities altogether.

Rosemary was the person who exchanged notices, prepared speakers and conducted the hearing at issue. Therefore, at the outset, she was the proper person to whom my inquiries and complaints were conveyed. Those who actually took the time to give their input at this hearing should not otherwise be required to navigate through the jungle of New York’s bureaucracy to perform follow-up. That is what Ellen, Rosemary and other public servants are paid to do. The subject hearing was sponsored by Governor Kathy Hochul and her Blue-Ribbon Commission on Forensic Custody Evaluations but conducted by Rosemary and fellow OPDV staff.

What a domestic violence office was doing in connection with a separate blue-ribbon commission is confusing enough but to visit that conflict upon presenters defies good conscience. These overseers must have been too overwhelmed by irrelevant complaints among their official duties because they obviously refused to render a basic response to my valid complaints. Instead I was referred to “General Counsel” as if there was some protection to be afforded them from a hallucinated feeling of harassment. By twisting my inquiries (two e-mails and phone calls) into a fabrication, Rosemary and Ellen exhibited the delusion that my valid public input could be suppressed contrary to the most basic principles of our constitutions.

My You-Tube video below was produced prior to this bizarre exchange with Ellen and Rosemary, and it summarizes my grievance. This video was also referenced with a request that it be shared with the full commission. It is now clear that its recipients were offended by its content and not anything else fabricated to dilute and discredit that content. There was certainly no “harassment” here, and if this Ellen lawyer is going to continue to misconstrue our harassment laws and constitutional rights in this manner, she should go back to whatever law school she got a degree from and ask for her money back. Take the time to review this video. You be the judge.

In an October 31, 2021 article by Amy Neff Roth of the USA Today Network, New York’s governor (by default), Kathy Hochul, is depicted as a clean politician anxious to rid state government of the drama and “culture of corruption” left behind by ex-governor Andrew Cuomo. But as exemplified here, we can expect more of the same. Where does the average citizen now go to achieve what our constitution and self-governing principles require, what our “public servants” have now disregarded in their elitism, self-love and accepted level of corruption?

While the Politicians were Impeaching…

This 1-second video was taken north of Times Square, not far from Trump Tower on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. It was taken around 6 pm as politicians were wrapping up their day long testimony for a vote on the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

Curious as to the unique culture surrounding homeless people, I monitored events to learn that the man in red was visiting fellow homeless victims to assure that they had sufficient protection for the night against the single digit snow squalls which I personally fought en route to my hotel. The forecast was a low of 15 overnight.

The guy in red had just delivered some additional cardboard bedding for the man buried under those blankets on the ground. I overheard that guy tell him that he would return to sleep on his other side as soon as he checked on others nearby.

This photo shows a man buried under blankets beneath the marquis of a worship center in Hell’s Kitchen just west of Times Square. While he was fighting to stay alive on the sidewalks of Congressman Jerry Nadler’s district, Jerry was preoccupied with impeachment as Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.

It was a cold, bright sunny day on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 as I drove down the New York Thruway on another assignment to uncover court corruption in Manhattan. A one hour traffic jam at the George Washington bridge made me late for my appointment. Six lanes at the New Jersey side toll booths narrowed to a single lane on the bridge due to vast stretches of ice being removed by construction crews on its south span.

I had already spent travel hours listening to testimony of congress members regarding the impeachment of Donald Trump which was approved later in the evening. Initially I was impressed with most of the statements including those with which I disagreed. However, even as a former office holder and trial attorney, I soon found myself anxious to switch my radio dial to something more interesting, like latino music which I do not get upstate.

That’s how predictable the testimony became, such that the traffic jams I so detest were becoming tolerable. The many reserved and yielded time for glory speeches could not be more boorish. If it was a Democrat, Trump was a treasonous villain compared to the likes of Benedict Arnold. And if it was a Republican, “colleagues across the aisle” were history’s most profound hypocrites, the likes of which would make Alexander Hamilton turn over in his grave.

In the end, the lofty presentations turned cold and grey as the weather was becoming as I finally reached midtown. They were entirely connected to party loyalty and not the gravity of events that would further divide our nation. So partisan were these representatives that the process lost its luster. There was no merit or genuine principle behind any of it. Whatever respect I had for this impeachment process, it was tortured by politicians focused on self-advancement.

Congressman Jerry Nadler represents the 10th District of New York. His district is the second smallest in the nation and one of the most gerrymandered ones on the planet. It stretches from Central Park down along a west side strip of Manhattan deep into the heart of Brooklyn. Obviously this district was carved out for Jerry’s re-election prospects and not for any constituent benefit in such diverse, chopped-up neighborhoods.

Jerry was the “gentleman from New York” who dominated the hearing as Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. I must have counted at least four times when he was recognized in a single hour, yielding time to select Democrat colleagues to impress the few outsiders who bothered to hear any of it. I was particularly offended because I visited Nadler’s office with his constituents during the lobby (middle) day of our Parent March on Washington (May 1-3, 2019).

I had been to Washington many times lobbying for court reforms and a federal investigation of Title IV-D funding abuses which are needlessly separating parents legally residing here from their children. Such abuses are causing veteran suicides and aggravated domestic violence, but because of the lucrative nature of this funding scheme in America’s family courts, you will not hear any lofty speeches from these same members of Congress supporting our requests.

Indeed, not a single member or staff in Congress responded to our reports and march down Pennsylvania Avenue under police escort. After a packed meeting in the conference room of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in which we were promised a reply, none has materialized even after follow-up visits and calls. This is how obsessed he and other Democrat colleagues have become with the impeachment agenda which began shortly after the 2016 election of Donald Trump.

Meanwhile the people and constituents are literally left “out in the cold” based on the many homeless people in Nadler’s congressional district that were taking cover from deadly cold and snow squalls on the day of impeachment. They could also be found only blocks away from that district at Trump Tower on the other side of Central Park. To hear these epic hypocrites recite their “oaths of office” repeatedly during the same day hearings made me cringe given their violations of those oaths among the sidewalks of Manhattan and the family court victims of America.

Is Hillary Above the Law? Should We Follow Her “Lead” to Armageddon?

From the Whitewater scandal of the nineties to an Arizona tarmac in 2016; Monica Lewinsky in 1998 to the Benghazi hearings of present day, Hillary Clinton has managed to dodge accountability for her crimes time and again.  Meanwhile many around her have been convicted or mysteriously eliminated through death or intimidation. Even her husband, Bill, was impeached, held in contempt and disbarred as a lawyer for perjury after turning our White House into a whore house.

But not Hillary. Her (not our) Attorney General and her (not our) FBI Director violated their public trust by refusing to indict her for misconduct which benefited each politically whereas in other cases it led to resignations and prosecutions, i.e. General Petraeus. The salacious  focus on Donald Trump’s personal life as a private citizen is calculated to deflect attention from Hillary’s horrific scandals as a public office holder at the highest levels. She has only one last “grand jury” to dodge on Election Day, and the world is hers, free of accountability.

So what kind of world will that be? Will it lead to a modern day form of anarchy where the people defend their own crimes and misconduct by citing our first woman president as “precedent?” Is this the kind of president women will be remembered for? Shouldn’t we wait four years? With all the liberal focus on women, did Hillary’s New World Order somehow “terminate” the other half of the human population? Will our children now belong to her “Village” in a complete state take-over as it did to education? How will that help women?

Is it also true as she testified before Congress that “it really didn’t matter” how soldiers died in Benghazi? Will military and law enforcement respect and honor the directives of a “leader” who holds herself above the law without remorse or respect for “men?” Did you ever hear an apology from Hillary on anything? Is she a god in her own mind, the Anti-Christ, the Masih ad-Dajjal or the Armilus of Christian, Islamic and Jewish faiths? Is she a combination of these evil beings who will bring our world to an end or Armageddon?

Perhaps you’ve already asked yourself such questions. Surely it’s on the minds of countless voters. They watched in horror as Hillary Clinton made her way up the political ladder with that bizarre laugh, steroid-level deceit, psychotic look and cruelty beyond conscience. What’s really behind it? Who are the players in her New World Order? How did she manage to trump Trump’s billions in this campaign? Why such a liberal piling-on to get her elected at all costs? Why are our First, Second and Fourth Amendments being viciously suppressed and targeted for extinction? Are you truly aware of our times?

This “Anti-Christ” has been defined as the “single figure of concentrated evil.” It may be an entity we are not meant to recognize, an evil so hidden that its host may not even know it. Originating in the Bible and depicted in religious lore as the ultimate opponent of Jesus Christ, it has parallel figures in Islamic and Jewish religions. This evil adversary brings about Armageddon or the end of humanity as we know it.

Recent documentaries have described how the Anti-Christ is now among us given our capacity to end the world through a nuclear holocaust. Scholars have predicted the end when world conflict centers on the holy land of three major religions. If you watched the presidential debates, isn’t that already happening? Iran versus Israel with nuclear powers taking sides?

We’ve now seen civil wars or nuclear threats in Iran, Israel, Syria, Afghanistan, Gaza, Egypt and Libya. The entire Middle East has become consumed by world politics due to the meddling of Hillary and her liberal-socialists. Perhaps it’s time to move to the Southern Hemisphere before radiation rules the north. Think about it. What targets are down under? Why are so many millionaires moving there?

After the last debate, British news reported the largest movement of military by the Russian government since World War II. Photos showed a new Russian missile with the name “Satan II” imprinted on its side capable of destroying Britain twice over. It was the Russian-Soviets who detonated the largest nuclear device in history known as “Tsar Bomba.” And that was in 1961!  They were the first to put a satellite into orbit.

So is this a government to provoke through escalating involvement by our former Secretary of State in countries around the world? Under her influence in administrations over three decades, American military pressure has arrived at the Russian border with Ukraine. If they respond in Cuba or Mexico, what would happen? Is this the kind of “experience” we need from a power broker committed to long discredited socialist policy for child rearing?” If you think family court is a nightmare today, you won’t want to see how she reforms it.

Even if such a Cuba type response is unlikely, it cannot be denied that we are already in a virtual war with Russia in Syria. A single air clash could provoke an unstoppable wave of escalating retributions in the Israel-Arab world. We would be “terminated” before Donald Trump could deny the latest foolish accusations in his campaign. He wisely wants to pull back from the Middle East as Obama once promised. Is it such a bad thing to have good relations with the only other country capable of ending our world? Not Hillary. She has a world to save, or is the word “conquer?”

The Anti-Christ and Armageddon were central themes in the 1997 blockbuster movie, Devil’s Advocate, starring Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves. The latter is a successful attorney who never lost a criminal jury case until he discovers his success was influenced by his father, Pacino, the devil itself. He becomes disbarred in the end upon rejecting Pacino and his army of demon lawyers. He openly declined further representation of his guilty client, a bragging child molester. Sound familiar on this site?

So even though the media and electoral college have already dictated your vote, you must be marked and monitored through birth numbers, cell phones, satellites and registrations. Satan’s ultimate deceit in this climactic election may be this: Humanity was expecting a man figure to emerge as the Anti-Christ, but it came in the form of a woman. GOTCHA !

Now this is funny: Hillary Clinton Holds News Conference Overwhelmed by Fact Checkers

-toby1.jpg20140408

By Leon R. Koziol, J.D.

It was something no one expected: a politician truly inaccessible by media because  she got surrounded by a wall of fact checkers. Hillary Clinton was giving her Convention strategy at a news conference in Hartford, Connecticut.

It was held after she she finally ended a streak of primary victories by Bernie Sanders in her (not quite) home state of New York. If it hadn’t been for Hillary’s Vermont Wall, a previously unknown senator from that state would not be giving her such a challenge for president.

As a reporter for Leon Koziol.com, I was determined to penetrate the fact checkers and become the first to get breaking news. So down on all fours I went squirreling my way toward the podium armed with a politician compass (operating on mouth vibrations), my I-phone 6, and Michelle Fields repellent.

I was doing good, the vibrations were off the chart. If my dad could do this to escape a Nazi war camp, it would be a ‘crawl in the park’ for me. That’s when I came across a familiar pair of green sneakers. Recognizing their owners, Ed Ryan, my good friend, I quickly rose to to greet him.

“Lee what the hell you doing here?” he laughed loudly as I tried to compose myself. “And what’s with the I-phone, skirt checking? You know guys are going to prison for that these days.”

“Come on, Ed, you know better. I was trying to avoid Michelle Fields. Besides what are guys not getting arrested for these days?”

“Point taken. Who’s Michelle Fields, another stalker? You got no luck in women, Lee. You should just stick with the ones at White Lake. They’re pretty hot and at least they’re normal…  I think.”

Ed laughed aloud again as he was accustomed to doing, even at his own comments. He was my social consultant at a place called White Lake Inn, a popular restaurant and country rock bar in New York’s Adirondack Mountains.

Everyone liked Ed. If he didn’t like you, a psychiatric evaluation was probably on your calendar. At White Lake, it was All-American, everybody liked everybody, it didn’t matter who you were. World issues were resolved there. The laughs and suds were often on the house.

“No Ed, she’s the Breitbart reporter fired for that complaint against Trump’s campaign manager, Cory Lewandowski,  because he touched her at a crowded rally. It was an assault charge that got thrown out.”

“I know you never lost a criminal case, but don’t tell me you’re a lawyer for Trump now.”

“No, you’re missing my point, it’s the feminist idiocracy taking over our government. I’m representing common sense. What kind of cops or military is equal rights gonna bring us if reporters get so sensitive. Michelle got swindled… Oh never mind, I’m just trying to…”

“(Interrupting) And I thought you didn’t care much for rock concerts, Lee. I’ve been standing in this line ever since I saw the advertisement for Bad Company off I-95. I love this band! Maybe Max and Kelly  will be the opening act.”

It would be hard as the bearer of bad news. Ed seemed so excited, but someone had to tell him. Such an easy-going guy, that alone was appealing to most. As he explained, it was because he never married or had kids. His job as a school counselor gave him all the craziness to last a lifetime.

“Ed this isn’t a rock concert for Bad Company. It’s a news conference for Hillary Clinton. That giant sign was put up by Bernie Sanders, her opponent. They’re probably referring to all the billionaires and corporate donors to her campaign.”

He grimaced in semi-disbelief. “No f-ing way. I hate politicians, except maybe Donald Trump. He’s got balls and funny as shit. You know this whole country’s going to hell unless he gets elected. I would still wait if he was here.”

“Well then do me a favor, tall as you are, put me on your shoulders so I can get my I-phone on Hillary’s speech. They’re trying to get an answer for her lies about Benghazi. She wants to be commander-in-chief but got our soldiers in harm’s way. If she does her usual dance routine, I’m outta here.”

Never embarrassed but highly disappointed, Ed agreed. He dutifully hoisted me and I began zooming in. Her remarks were directed against Donald Trump which gave Ed some solace for his blunder. Hillary was the anti-Christ as far as he was concerned. At least that’s the way he explained Sanders’ visit with the Pope back home.

“Who is Donald Trump to talk about success?” the candidate railed. “Win, win, win…  blah, blah, blah. Well I got success and I know how to win too. Take the Whitewater scandal, I won, my village on how to raise everyone’s children, and Bill’s infidelities, I won again. Now they got this e-mail thing going. I’m still winning.”

“But now you want to be president, Hillary,” interrupted a fact checker. “That last scandal is not small potatoes, it involves our military overseas.”

“Hey the American public could care less if I mix my grocery bills with nuclear secrets. Besides it’s the FBI against our Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, on this federal crime, and everyone knows she’s my feminazi friend. No one’s above the law except me. I got it all covered folks, untouchable just like Bill. By the way he really did not have sex with that woman. I was there at the White House and we did not turn it into a whore house.”

Disgusted, and given the long trip we made, I had to yell out a question from the media entourage relegated to the rear. It wouldn’t be the first time I did it. Ed buckled a bit underneath me with the crowd pushing on all sides. But if he could manage to stand his ground all those years at White Lake Inn, this would be no problem.

“So what about Donald Trump’s campaign platform,” I shouted, “pretty consistent wouldn’t you say? He’s sounding more presidential by the day, how do you respond to his bullet point plan?”

“There you guys go again with bullets, gun rights and the Second Amendment. I got an answer for Trump’s high tech lie detector system. I got so many lies, I can keep him and the media so busy they will never keep up. I just move on to my next lie before his detectors go off. There’s never been anyone like me.”

“And there will never be, at least not at the White House, Hillary, because we’re all voting for Trump. Come on Ed, let’s get back to White Lake. Brian and Joe make more sense than this politician does.”

Suddenly all of Trump’s lie sirens were sounding off to a point where they were drowning out Hillary’s shrill voice. “No, come back I’m not done lying yet. Have you heard about my Vermont Wall?”

Bernie Sanders Leading in one Poll Linked to Vermont Wall Proposal

index
“You’re no Barack Obama Hillary !”

By reporter Michael Fields

Yesterday we updated rumors of a wall that Hillary Clinton was proposing on New York’s border with Vermont. Today, on the eve of New York’s primary, she continued to deny the reports. However a recent poll showed that the wall issue has propelled Bernie Sanders to a lead among Democrat voters, particularly parents and grandparents.

On April 5, 2016, the New York Post ran a story suggesting that Hillary Clinton might as well build a wall on the Vermont border in light of her claims that New York’s gun and drug trafficking problems came from Vermont, the home state of her primary opponent Bernie Sanders. Yesterday it was learned that she may have a plan to do exactly that.

Fueled by the success of Donald Trump’s once ridiculed wall on Mexico, the Vermont wall was suggested at a closed door strategy session. It would span roughly 160 miles between Canada and Massachusetts, only a fraction of the length of Trump’s Wall. According to sources, the funding would come from casinos, the only growing industry in New York.

The proposal comes on the heels of Hillary’s thrashing by her Democrat primary opponent at the Battle of Brooklyn, the most recent debate which most observers agree was won resoundingly by Bernie Sanders. Reputable fact checkers had debunked her claims that New York’s gun and heroin problem was caused by drug lords in Vermont.

Hillary’s debunked claims, however, have caused voters to question her capacity to be president for all of our states and communities. According to one New Yorker contacted near the Vermont border, the two states have had a great relationship with family and friends that crossed that border for recreational, education and employment purposes.

“What a sleazy move,” remarked a fisherman from Plattsburgh, New York. “Just because Vermont is a small state does not mean she can just cut it off from the rest. What if I don’t vote for Hillary, does that mean my county or village will also be dumped on by her? Whatever happened to her It Takes a Village book? Whose village is she working for?”

Another set-back the same night made the Clinton campaign desperate for a rebound.  Transcripts belatedly released by the State Department to Judicial Watch, a government watchdog, revealed that Clinton had knowingly lied to the American people and our allies about the Benghazi attacks which imperiled our soldiers abroad.

In yet another set-back, Florida prosecutors threw out a complaint against Cory Lewandowski, campaign manager for Donald Trump. A woman reporter’s career was destroyed after feminist agitators influenced Michelle Fields to file a bogus battery charge strictly to derail Trump’s juggernaut on  the presidential election.

Contacted at a rally in Syracuse, Mr. Lewandowski was asked for his response to the latest development in the Clinton camp.

“Does she realize that most of Vermont’s border with her home state is under Lake Champlain. In some places it’s 400 feet deep. That would make the Hillary wall bigger than anything with Mexico.”

Also at the rally, Trump’s New York manager, Carl Palladino echoed those concerns.

“The obvious question I have about Hillary’s Wall is whose going to pay for it? Fellow Americans in Vermont? New York is already the most taxed state in America.”

Bernie Sanders, campaigning in Rome, Italy (not Rome, New York), had this to say in a skyped interview:

“Did she finally throw a tissy fit? All those drug traffickers in my little home state would simply drive around her wall through Massachusetts. Is she gonna cut off all of New England now?  Last time someone tried that was the British in 1777. By the way, you know their leader wants to bar Trump from campaigning in that country.”

Quick to escape New York less than a week before its primary, Hillary Clinton was contacted at a fundraising gala in California sponsored by oil sheikhs from Benghazi. Here is what she had to say about the campaign leak, reproduced (unedited) from a recorder:

“I thought I told you already, it’s lying Ted Cruz behind all this. I would never be so stupid as to propose a wall on the Vermont border, and I didn’t need you to correct me, Michelle,  about it being underwater. I once took a boat on Lake Champlain to Plattkill.”

Reporter: “You mean Plattsburgh, the place you just mentioned is in the Catskills south of there.”

Hillary: “Whatever, look I’m from Arkansas, not New York. I only went there to get elected president. Ted is right. We don’t like New York values where Bill and I come from, especially after Carmelo Anthony and the Syracuse Orange stole that basketball title from Kansas.”

Reporter: “Look I’m just trying to help out Hil, you’re sounding like an opportunist on anything that comes along. Not very presidential. Trump’s probably gonna say ‘You’re no Barack Obama’ if you get into a national debate. Your wall is not going over very well. Vermont is a state not a separate country like Mexico, and it’s looking like you really don’t know New York.”

Hillary: “Don’t go there Michelle, I know my history. Did you know that Vermont was not one of our original thirteen states? It was a foreign country like Canada. And how about all those carpetbaggers who came south after the Civil War. We didn’t appreciate them telling us how to run our own states. What’s wrong with a little reverse history?”

Reporter: “Well for starters, Hil, you claimed to cross the border without knowing that the real port of Plattsburgh was the turning point in the War of 1812. We beat the British navy there.”

Hillary (interrupting): “Who cares about any of that in California? Voters are lucky to remember yesterday. I should know as an expert politician and lawyer.  I fooled them in New York twice on the Senate race so I’m a shoe-in there.”

Reporter: “Well they’re going to raise questions about your wall now that it’s been leaked and you don’t wanna be raising Vermont as a foreign country. California and Texas were also separate countries once and…”

Hillary (interrupting again): “I know, I know, so was Hawaii but not recent enough to keep Obama out when I ran against him.”

Reporter: “And as for carpetbagging, isn’t that what you were doing with that village thing during Bill’s term, telling parents how to raise their children?”

Hillary: “Alright you got me there. No one’s going to expect me to know all these places and history trivia. Why anyone would want to live north or south of Westchester is beyond me too. Black flies and voters on CP time in either direction.”

Reporter: “You know, you’re lucky you didn’t use the ‘N’ word in that stupid skit with DeBlasio. What were you thinking Hil? This isn’t Arkansas and it sure ain’t Kansas. You’re lucky you escaped New York when you did.”

Hillary: “You’re one to talk Michelle. Here you are in a guy’s suit pretending to be a male reporter after that Lewinsky fiasco. You’re just another media liar out to make a name for herself. I don’t have time for this. I have more important people to talk to.”

Reporter: “You mean Lewandowski. Monica’s the other woman you destroyed. You’re the people who duped me into filing that bogus charge for political gain, not for any woman’s rights cause. After Breitbart fired me, no one would hire me. I was lucky to get this job with the most censored blog site in America.”

Hillary: “Sorry about that, really I am.  But just remember, this conversation is off the record. Damn, Michelle, what’s it gonna take before you people believe in anything I got to say?”

Reporter: “I think that’s what every voter in America is asking.”

Top Story: On Eve of Primary, Clinton Denies Vermont Wall Proposal

Yesterday we reported breaking news that Hillary Clinton was pressing forward with a plan to build a wall on New York’s border with Vermont. Today, on the eve of New York’s primary, she continued to deny the reports. Due to its viral popularity, we are reproducing the story here for those of you who missed it.

Breaking News: Hillary Clinton to Build Wall on Vermont Border?

index
“You’re no Barack Obama Hillary !”

By reporter Michael Fields

Unofficial sources confirm that presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is considering a plan to build a wall on New York’s border with Vermont. Fueled by the growing success of her Republican opponent’s once ridiculed wall on Mexico, the Vermont counterpart was suggested at a closed door strategy session in New York.

The proposal comes on the heels of Hillary’s thrashing by her Democrat primary opponent at the Battle of Brooklyn, the most recent debate which most observers agree was won resoundingly by Bernie Sanders of Vermont. Reputable fact checkers had debunked her claims that New York’s heroin problem was caused by drug lords in Vermont.

“Is lying Ted Cruz behind all this? I would never be so stupid as to propose a wall on the Vermont border, and I didn’t need you to correct me, Michelle,  about it being underwater. I once took a boat on Lake Champlain to Plattkill.”

Reporter: “You mean Plattsburgh, the place you just mentioned is in the Catskills south of there.”

New Report: Child Custody Dysfunctions at Epidemic Levels

image (2)
Report concludes that an entrenched bureaucracy in Washington has created and promoted a dysfunctional child custody system which is harming parents, families, children, health care and our productivity as a nation.

A highly compelling report was released today to select groups and government agencies on the subject of a crisis developing among families victimized by divorce and custody processes. It discloses widespread abuses in courts across America which are now at epidemic levels.

Parents seeking to protect their family privacy, child rearing authority and fair treatment may benefit greatly from this report.

Introduction

Future generations will look back on today’s domestic relations courts and be amazed at how truly barbaric they once were. A scheme of laws and processes derived from feudal equity doctrines has been retained which features loving parents engaged in brutal contests over their offspring in a public arena. A winner-take-all battle for custody leads to overregulation of families by the state and marginalization, alienation or outright extinction of one fit parent from the children’s lives. Anal investigations of the combatants’ backgrounds by self serving advisors incite further controversy to last a lifetime. It is a spectacle reminiscent of the Roman Coliseum.

No person or entity has ever been able to achieve a comprehensive study of the vast detriment which this archaic custody and support system has had upon our society. Any such effort would assuredly be stymied by the beneficiaries of a lucrative child control industry. However common sense dictates that our nation could be well served with sweeping reforms here in our least scrutinized branch of government. We can put a man on the moon, split atoms, engage artificial intelligence and achieve vast breakthroughs in medicine but remain unable to extricate family courts from their nineteenth century practices. This public initiative aims to do exactly that.

In recent decades, medical and psychiatric journals have identified various syndromes to explain diverse human illnesses. Post traumatic stress and parental alienation are examples limited to the symptoms of a far greater epidemic, a devastating silent killer depicted here as Custody Court Dysfunction. This report focuses not only on the symptomology of family suicides, homicides and psycho-somatic illness but the legal framework which produces the dysfunction. It seeks to establish a task force of legal, medical, social and religious experts to devise a joint remedy, to grow a movement that ends an alarming level of abuse caused by needless conflict and forensic referrals. I have described it as a trillion dollar operation akin to the tobacco and drug industries.

Typically studies are committed to non-legal experts to explore remedies for emerging social ills. Few reach the exclusivity of court operations that are highly protected from accountability. Indeed other professions benefit greatly from the aggravated harm created by these courts. In his book, After the Madness, former (convicted) Chief Justice Sol Wachtler of New York explains that judges are trained to think as gods. In United States v Cossey, 632 F.3d 82 (2nd Cir. 2011), a federal judge, Gary Sharpe, went so far as to discover a human gene without scientific support to sentence a man to a six year prison term. Reversed on appeal and removed from the case, he was cited for his omnipotence and damage to the reputation of our judiciary. The list goes on.

This report is drafted with personal experiences to lend credence and a sense of urgency to this public initiative. The text and footnotes alternate between first and third person usage so that the reader can better identify with the author as a parent victim and in his professional background. I am also seeking financial support behind a national organizing and speaking tour before impacted constituencies. These include veterans, military families, public safety officers, civil rights groups, family associations, chambers of commerce and high profile figures. This tour will focus on our two principal goals for bringing civility to America’s domestic relations courts:

1) Promotion of shared parenting laws in place of the antiquated custody scheme, and

2) Demand for transparency and accountability in a self regulated family court system.

About the Author

Leon R. Koziol, J.D. is a lawyer placement consultant for intellectual property firms and a civil rights advocate who practiced law in federal and state courts for more than 23 years. His achievements include legal precedent and six figure recoveries for victims of government abuse. All the while, he was self trained, generating a perfect record of acquittals in criminal jury cases. He received community service awards including dedication plaques on a new city courthouse.

Dr. Koziol’s civil rights work earned him interviews on the CBS Program 60 Minutes and front page of the New York Times, among other major media. A published book was discussed on CNN and his candidacy for United States Congress was a headline story in 2006. After years of complex litigation against high profile law firms, he secured final judgment in state Supreme Court invalidating the largest casino gaming compact in New York on constitutional grounds.

In education, a Juris Doctor degree was conferred by Northern Illinois University, College of Law with an award from the American Bar Association in State and Local Government. Leon received a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree from the State University of New York, and upon graduation, he joined the management team of a Fortune 500 manufacturer, later serving as a corporation counsel, school attorney and city councilman with a focus on risk management.

Various awards and scholarships round out his background in public service and government. Published achievements on-line include Patterson v City of Utica, 370 F.3d 322 (2nd Cir. 2004)($333,820.32 jury verdict); Oneida Indian Nation v Oneida County, 132 F. Supp. 2d 71 (NDNY 2000)(casino challenge-landowner rights) and Koziol v Hanna, 107 F. Supp. 2d 170 (NDNY 2000)(successful free speech challenge to mayoral gag order). His first thriller-romance novel, Voyage to Armageddon, was published in 2014 and is available at major bookseller sites.

As a trial attorney and public advocate, Mr. Koziol exposed official misconduct at all levels of government, making him a predictable target of retribution. When he turned his focus to abuses inflicted upon parents in family courts, the retributions escalated within his profession after more than two decades of unblemished practice. It compelled him to seek recourse before the New York Moreland Commission on Public Corruption . As a result of all this, Leon’s law license was temporarily suspended based on continuing orchestrated charges to suppress reform efforts.

Courts Extinguishing Parental Rights Through Censorship

images

Okay so we’re not Breitbart or Infowars, we’re just an expanding blog site known as Leon Koziol.com dedicated to parental rights. That puts us with mainstream social media. As Chief Justice John Roberts declared in Snyder v Phelps, speech and press must be “robust” in any self-governing nation.

But we weren’t picketing against gay military as they were in that case. We were promoting all military who return from foreign wars only to experience more oppression in divorce and family courts. That made our third branch of government the subject of our public criticisms.

It’s an epidemic captured by Second Class Citizen.Org in Purple Heart’s Final Beat. We’re part of a loose network of advocates seeking vital reforms. That makes all of us bloggers important to our nation’s politics because the divorce epidemic has received sparse coverage by other media.

Today more than ever, we are victims of a powerful bureaucracy seeking to control every facet of our liberties. Families are the last bastion. Accordingly the people rely on secondary media for information and protection. It may be our final frontier before the machines take over.

When major media is censored, they resort to our courts for protection as they should. These forums were created by the people to be the primary guardians of our constitutional rights. But what if the courts are the ones doing the censoring? Where do those victims go for protection?

Welcome to Leon Koziol.com, the most court-censored blog site in America. It started innocently enough, a loving dad and attorney seeking to spend more time with his daughters. He went against his profession for turning our children into a trillion dollar industry.

And boy did they retaliate. This site was offered to fight back, and since its inception, we’ve exposed court corruption like toxic spills from a chemical plant. With each post, public forum or court filing, judges and spineless lawyers acted to extinguish our protected activity.

The Times, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Fox News, NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN are some of the major media seeking relief in our courts whenever they are censored. Their publishers, editors and reporters are never seized of their children, livelihoods and homes as a punishment.

Secondary media are not so fortunate. They lack real influence. But what we do have is an army of free service providers so the big guys can have something worth reporting. Here, because the courts were targeted, we became the most censored news site in America. Now for some proof:

On November 25, 2015, a state court gag order was issued against this site. It was so expansive that its details here could implicate a contempt citation and imprisonment;

In June, 2015, a disciplinary hearing was opened to the public for the first time on Leon’s request to address a law license suspension caused by an insider fired from his office in 2009. That insider was not convicted for her crimes until 2016 after damage was done. Hence it could not be used sooner to defend against a 2010 suspension;https://leonkozioljd.wordpress.com/2016/02/26/finally-veronica-donahue-to-be-sentenced-for-felony-forgeries-join-us-for-justice/

The ethics lawyers in the witch hunt against Leon were fired for falsifying their time sheets by the same court which suspended Leon. That fact was used to resist charges of inadequate insider supervision which Leon then applied to the judges before him regarding their own ethics staff. No public charges were ever brought against them;

The 2015 hearing was video recorded by Divorce Corp because of a You-Tube interview with Leon which it publicized in June, 2015 on the subject of child support corruption. This publication caused Leon to be censored at a family law reform convention at our nation’s capital in November, 2014 sponsored by the same entity;

On April 8, 2014, the state’s Committee on Professional Standards issued a report opposing reinstatement of Leon’s law license. It cited and attached seven blog posts out of more than 200 as offensive in content with no ethics charges ever brought;

One of the cited blog posts consisted of Leon’s 2013 testimony before the Moreland Commission on Public Corruption regarding fabricated college degrees found by judges. It cannot be detailed here due to the gag order. Another post was merely a dedication to Leon’s recently departed mother, adding a sadistic flavor to it all;

• On May 22, 2013 at a closed hearing, ethics lawyers for the Committee on Professional Standards declared to a court panel that they would oppose reinstatement of Leon’s law license as long as he continued his public criticisms of judges. None was specified or prosecuted while “anonymous” complaints on other subjects were;

The criticisms included a civil rights forum sponsored by Leon on January 19, 2010 featuring parent testimony for a report to the Justice Department. It was monitored by divorce lawyers. The later fired ethics lawyers asked Leon to explain why he did not introduce himself as a “suspended lawyer” prior to his first ever suspension.

• On January 9, 2008, Leon argued his first appeal challenging a lucrative system of custody classifications which forced parents to fight over their offspring. It was before a court which also appointed ethics committees. One member was his ex-spouse’s divorce lawyer. On the same day, an ethics prosecution was opened for the very first time against Leon after more than two decades of unblemished practice;

• On October 8, 2008, a divorce judge ruled that Leon’s support obligations under that challenged custody law were proper under Title IV-D (Child Support Standards Act). That meant that the judges and lawyers who disrupted the parents’ 2006 agreements did so for no good reason other than lucrative parental conflict. A violation was nonetheless filed to cause another basis for suspending Leon’s law license. Those details are also omitted here due to the gag order.

This is only a small sampling of Leon’s ordeal and punishments for protecting fellow parents (and others who cannot be mentioned here due to the gag order). None of it has ever been disproved or even denied, and this is not the first time Leon sacrificed himself for the people and their rights under the First Amendment.

As chief (corporation) counsel for an upstate New York city, he gave up his post and successfully sued a mayor in federal court for a gag order on public employees. You can look it up at Koziol v Hanna, 107 F. Supp.2d 170 (NDNY 2000)(supported by federal appeals court in Manhattan). On October 9, 2015, the same federal court issued an anti-filing order against Leon.

We continue to fight this battle on principle and for those who cannot be mentioned here. Leon is also fighting for parents, families and children everywhere. But he has been deprived his livelihood for more than six years while a local lawyer convicted of tax fraud on $2 million in client income was never denied his law license even while serving time in prison. We therefore ask you to support us with a donation and anything else you can do.

Civil Rights Expert Leon Koziol in Charleston: Walter Scott Support Warrant Requires Justice Department Inquiry.

Charleston

Charleston May be the Saratoga or Gettysburg in this War on Fathers.

By Dr. Leon R. Koziol

Here in Charleston, it’s not just another racially charged killing in America. It’s much more. A black man was shot dead in the back by a white cop because of a money debt called “child support.” This is the elephant in the court room which everyone is ignoring, almost as if such obligations were sacred simply because the word “child” is attached.

Yet because of this money debt and an arrest warrant from a support judge, this heinous murder occurred. Such warrants are doled out like candy and countless fathers do not even know they exist. Substandard notice procedures are employed because these are supposedly civil courts with no criminal implications. But as the Walter Scott incident abundantly proved, these warrants are anything but civil. Debtor fathers are treated like criminals in the end. Poor notice procedures are akin to being shot in the back as a defenseless man.

Indeed in my civil rights reports, I have shown how the federal government and our family courts are literally criminalizing fatherhood for revenue generating purposes. Any competent investigation by our Justice Department must include the judge, lawyers and participants of a court process which treats fathers as lower class citizens due to their birth status. These money obligations are imposed in discriminatory fashion with minority fathers especially abused.

It was all explained in my 2012 report hand- delivered to our Justice Department and a public initiative summary made public only weeks prior to this travesty entitled “We Are Fathers.” Child support is enforced through draconian means with debtor prisons as their ultimate outcome. If it was not for a court process which is getting increasingly out of control, a more routine ending would have occurred. A traffic ticket would have issued and Walter Scott would have been on his way home .

If these courts were truly family friendly, if fathers were truly respected as parents, and if greed did not trump the true best interests of our children, no warrant would have issued to cause a desperate father to flee the scene of a simple traffic stop. Fathers are not just second class citizens in our family courts, they  have been reduced to sub-class status with less parental authority than teachers and teen baby sitters.

To be sure, fathers are routinely made to exercise a degrading form of parenting known as “visitation,” a term more properly applied to prisons and funerals. Whenever someone mentions child support, a male pronoun is always attached. Indeed, fathers do not even get the respect of having  the phrase “dead beat dad” treated for what it is, a sexist slur.

Walter Scott ran from the scene not because of a broken tail light, not because he was black, not because of any crime he had committed. He ran because he had been in family court enough times to know that he could not get a fair shake there. He knew that child support was often used for purposes other than the child. It was a scene that could have played out anywhere in America.

This dad knew that if he surrendered to this cop, he would be thrown into a debtors’ prison, there would be no jury of peers to decide his fate, and one person in a robe, rewarded by the number of support orders to be enforced, could not rule impartially. Why even show up to such a kangaroo operation when the only  crime that Walter Scott committed was that he was born the wrong way under antiquated laws.

Protesters are now running out of steam to maintain any ongoing purpose here. Unlike other racially charged incidents, the people and government of South Carolina are not trying to justify the aberrant behavior of Officer Slager. They had him promptly charged with murder, committed to jail without bail, and they even surrendered their investigative authority to outside agencies. Unless I’m missing something, what more could be done?

Well, if I may be heard, not only as a white man but as a civil rights attorney who took on the challenges that no one else would, you have an epic purpose here. It is one  that could make civil rights history. But I assert this as a parent. It is a status I have in common with this victim and one that could unite all Americans behind a worthy cause to root out corruption in our nation’s divorce and family courts.

Walter Scott is someone I can relate to as a father. I have resisted the same draconian debt collection practices for reasons too numerous to state here. They are aptly provided in prior posts here at Leon Koziol.com. In short , these practices violate rights under the American Constitution which our military fights each day to preserve only to return to the same unjust laws.

Walter Scott’s sacrifice cannot be allowed to go without real purpose. He is our turning point in this war on fathers. When a loving dad is shot dead in the back fleeing from a child support warrant, all fathers become victims. This is our fraternal bond since the time of creation itself. My objective here in Charleston knows no color or origin. It remains the final frontier of civil rights reform left unchecked in America today.
